Hi rosebuds! Here's my first song of the year - it's a sad little ballad I wrote on a lonely fall evening last September.
This song was inspired by my ex. I was absolutely heartbroken after we broke up, and for the longest time I couldn't imagine life without him. I spent many days wondering what I could have done differently to save the relationship. I wished I could go back in time to when we were still together.
Well, three years later I've finally managed to find a way to live without him, lol. I've grieved and healed, and the silver lining is that my experiences gave me the inspiration to write this song. If you're going through a breakup or have recently lost someone you loved, I hope this song helps you cry so you'll feel a little bit better afterwards.
