For the first week after my breakup last year, I stayed in bed all day to write songs. Getting my emotions out on paper (or in my case, my notes app on my phone) was the only way I could work through my emotions. So I wrote and wrote until I fell asleep, then woke up and kept writing again.
This song is one of the songs I wrote. Writing this song helped me to accept the end of the relationship; although my journey with him is over, I'm still grateful for the memories that we created together.
