Below is a little blurb about the song, in case you haven't read it yet:
Every time I dream about being chased by monsters, I wonder if it’s my subconscious trying to tell me something. Sometimes it feels like my self-doubt and depressing thoughts manifest as shadows lurking in every corner of my bedroom, even though I know they’re not real. This song is about those shadows.
Sometimes when I think about my life in comparison to others, I struggle to find the happiness in what I have. I’m learning to enjoy my own life for what it is, and to live for today and not tomorrow. Still, I have my bad days. I guess I’m still learning.
